new member feature?

Hi.

I've seen on some sties a bit on there main forum page where they welcome there latist member.
I just thought that it would be quite good on the home page of the zone?
Jst an idea, so lemme al know what you think.

Good idea. I also think saying happy birthday to members having a birthday would be a good idea. We can check the birthday link but it would be even nicer to have a greeting and happy birthday message on home page each day to those having a birthday on that day. A lot of people don't bother checking teh birthday link.

I like both ideas. I mean new members get welcomed in quicnotes after they have registered. The B-Day stuff is in the second page after the news and announcements window. Just adds more acknowledgement to the newbies and not to mention acknowledging someone's actual birthdate. Like instead of giving the list for that month to give the announcement when the person's actual birthdate hits.

good idea. i also have seen on some forums that it says at the bottom what the last board post was. keep your ideas coming

hmmm, we use to have a thing that'd welcome new users on the cite. I wonder whatever happened to it? As for the rest of it, you're all right, of course. We shall see what we can do...thanks all!

Yeah I saw that edit field where there is a /questionmark, and look forward to using it a bit, experimenting with it a bit, just so I don't type a command wrong. I just keep getting this feeling something will get messed up if I type a command wrong.

Yeah, I like the idea about welcoming new users and the birthday thing. (And just now I finally read the part under the QN thing and figured out how to get help, and that feature is cool too.) *smiles*
